Im the guy with the truck, i had the truck running and driving for about half hour and i was going about 70 on the highway and saw a lexus coming up fast so i floored it and got the 2nd gear down shift, it was about 4500 rpms and then it let go and pulled to the side of the road and that was that. towed it back to my house and found some parts in the skid plate like pieces of the rod, piston and of course oil pan.

 

918 failures still make me nervous. When I change mine I'll probably go with duals to be safe.
