Default Opinions on stroking the LS1???

Im kinda new at all of this. I have the stock motor and everything. I just wanted to get some opinions and thoughts on stroking it to a 383???? Cost wise and everything would you guys do it?

i have the same plans down the road. Any info would be helpful. Though there is a lot of info if you search and read a lot of it.

383 from a stock block is about the most reliable.

395/396 is needed to build up to 427?

what if you went to 383 w/ stroke?
what can you get to if you build up that?

No, I meant that if my rings end up wearing faster,as people say they do, then it will just be that much sooner that I will have to build up another engine, and my next one will be a 427

I will most likely be going with the 382, and going FI. from all i have read it seems to be the most reliable like stated above. or i will be going lq9 motor.
