Question I read the Sticky!! Cam Advancing?

But want opinions, please.

My truck weighs approx. 5300lbs. With the mods in sig and a 224/114+0 .578" cam my power is peaking up at 5700-6500.
I understand that advancing the cam will lower the power band in the rpm range, but what else will it do?

Will it increase emmisions or affect idle?

If it increases torque in the lower band how much HP is lost from the top?

My peak power is made from 5700-6400 now, if brought down to 5400-6200 would my peak HP drop from 339 to 330, or less?

I haven't made it to the track yet because the weather has been bad for like more than a month, i'm praying for sunshine Weds!

THX!
