Go with the cam you already have...You will notice ZERO difference between the two. The 240 duration cam is simply too big...It will cam VERY hard but it is going to actually slow your car down.

Do not go with the 114LSA cam. It will have no ***** down low. Wide LSA cams with lot of duration have late intake valve closing points and generally make poor dynamic compression. The 231/237 112LSA cam is the best choice of the cams you've mentioned. Personally, I'd still go a little smaller with an even tighter LSA, but that's me. You'd get more lope and more mid-range power and torque which is perfect for a high mileage motor that doesn't need to be spun to the moon.

Because it's the wrong choice for this application. The MS3 has big duration and wide LSA. That means you'll have to spin it to the moon before it starts making good power. Also, the dynamic compression is not too good. You'll need lots of static compression to make it excel.

yea what does the MS3's overlap?

between the two, 231/237 on a 112 and 237/242 ms3 113. Which would be better for a street/strip car. Not a daily driver, but does drive alot more on the street than the strip.

MS3 for strip with some steep gears and full bolt ons. Possibly heads and some N2O. Otherwise the 231/237 will get the job done well.

I have to really thank orangeapeel, he helped me alot with my decision since we both like the same kindas of cams, big cams lopey idles he knows what i would like and what would be good for me..but a big thanks to everyone else that helped..if u have any more opinions post them up i would like to read what else people have to say about my decision

what is the overlap on the tsp 233/239 112* and the 232/234 112*?
