How to tell if its a LS1 or LS2?

I heard that in 2002 the Trans Am came with either the LS1 or LS2 engine, true? And if so, how do you tell?
I have a 02 T/A and want to get injectors for it and need to know as these engines take different injectors lengths.
Thanks for any help/

The 02 trans am only came with the ls1. The ls2 was never used in an fbody.

on the GTO's they have LSx stickers on the throttle bodies, dont know about the other cars.

Its funny that someone you heard that from would even say that considering it wasnt even put in any GM car until the 05 model year.

The 98-02 Camaro/Trans Am all come with LS1 engines. You have a LS6 Intake and possibly a LS6 block which doesnt really mean squat, maybe that was the confusion.
