105000 miles on car, Torquer v2 114 lsa , dual springs,seats, oil seals,timing chain,ported oil pump,hardend pushrods ect. It start when i got tired od hearing the afwul ticking noise. My cousin and I pull the valve covers, theres 3 bent rods. So thats the problem i thought . We finish the cam swap, start it up and its perfect. Go out for a drive and that F'en sound is back, Not at all the times.ticking noise Comes and goes. Is it bad lifters? The original cam was grooved like the lifters were grindin down on it. Im goin to pop the valve covers retorque the rockers, and im goin to go from there. I dont want to pull the heads. Lifters & Gaskets = $ ? how do i switch the lifters out??? any suggestions??
Overall car sounds like a beasst.!!! True duals One chamber out back . very happy with cam pull hard!!
