91k on the clock....you are gonna want new springs, retainers, pushrods, and probably lifters if you decide to go semi big. Assuming that you could be an A4, I will tell you to get a converter first. I don't see anywhere on here that you are not one though, but any 230's grind cam would work for you if you replaced your valvetrain. And in the event that you are a M6 you will want to consider some gears. To pile another thing ont the list....you are going to want a tune with any cam you pick. so that will set you back atleast $500.00. I have a 224/230 and a 244/248 in both of my camaros, and they have a full valvetrain and both sound really good. If you want a lopey cam and a tad more power on top of that here are some suggested grinds.
224/224 .581/.581 112
222/226 .566/.569 114
230/232 xxx/xxx 112
231/237

we did a cam install on a car with 90k pulled heads due to some bent valves. but the lifters looked very good in it. i suggest new hardned pushrods, dual springs, and timing chain. really can't go wrong with a 224 cam, very good power and sound.

Yeah, most of the sponsors can build you a package with everything you need including gaskets. It will save you money too in most cases.

91K is nothing. I just put in my heads and cam with 96+ onthe clock and it feels like a fresh motor. When I pulled the heads I still had the cross hatching from the factory cylinder hone, and i didnt have any ridge at the top of the cylinder walls. 91K could very likely be a healthy motor. That being said, base your cam decission on how extreme you want to go. Descriptions over the internet just dont do it justice, go find someone local wo will take you for a ride in their car so you can see what size cam you want.

91K, 96K.......LOL. 152,000 miles just installed MS3 and PRC Ls6 Heads on the stock bottom end. Stock lifters were still good, upgraded to dual springs, hardened pushrods, and new timing chain. Will be sprayin on top of it! LS1's are awesome!!!

MS3 + heads @ 152K miles? What, is your LS1 having it's mid-life crisis?
