got my futral cam back from polishing.
mine doesn't really look like the one in the pic. it has some barley noticible machine marks on the lobes but they look like all the rest of the ones i've seen.
the one in the pic is not a billet cam, mine is; does this make a difference with the time it was ground.

he only polished the mains on it, they had a little surface rust from where it had been sitting.
all of these faulty cams were ordered like early last year right? i hear guys saying they put like 13K miles on them before problems? I bought mine in December 05. i can't see anything wrong with it when i looked at it. Should it be ok?
My F13 that I'm selling because I ordered a larger custom grind from Futral for my 383 is also in perfect shape. I bought mine in late 2005 too - after the problematic batch of cams came out a few months early.
