my brothers 98 c5 rod let go at 6800 rpm have not tore it down to see if it was rod bolt. just ordered a new short block from tsp. i have pulled the heads and piston comes out of block a little. barely hit head thank god the head was not hurt! 59 cc afr 205's heads are not cheap!
