I have used AMSOIL for a long time in most everything I own. When I took apart my last motor it had alot of rust film and build up???? I've yet to call the factory on it. That a side I've had great luck with it. 13 yrs.

Go for it!!
I would by amsoil from you also. Im currently running Mobil 1 0w40, But for my next change Im going to go with amsoil european 5w40. To order direct is pretty expensive, but from what Ive read its superior to mobil 1 and thats all that counts

So I gave up on this $h!t and became an Amsoil preferred customer and will use their 5W-40. F Castrol if they refuse to sell me their good stuff!!!!
Very blunt- basically said what I think and would not say out loud

So how much would you be able to sell it for per quart??? I used the European formula 5W40 once in my car and can honestly say that i was impressed. My car held great oil pressure when it was fully warmed up, and the little tiny bit of piston slap i have sometimes on cold start up was completely gone. I use GC only because the Amsoil 5w40 is so expensive...i payed like 7.50 a quart compared to 5.00 for GC.

I know this doesn't mean anything as far as LS1s, but my company runs amsoil 5w-30 in all our work vans. We have a few vans with over 300,000 miles and we beat the **** out of them. I also run it in all my vehicles for the extended service life. I haven't had any oil analyzed but it seems to hold up well.

I use the Amsoil 5w40 Euro formula in my VW. I wasn't aware it was so popular in the LSx world. Will probably use it when I build my LSx motor as well. I get mine from a TDIclub member and the last case came to $5.35/qt after shipping.
