Default corvette parts on an SS

Hey guys, this may be a simple answer, but just to be sure. I am about to get a head/cam combo off a 98 Corvette, which is an LS1. It's a package that west coast corvette has. I have a 2001 SS. Since they are essentially the same motor, will I have any problems bolting the corvette parts to the camaro block? Also he has a McCloud clutch on his 6-sp, will that directly bolt up to my 6sp setup.
