Using the Valve Events calculator is there a way to determine if there will be Piston to valve clearance issus for a given duration? If not is there a calculator for determining this or a formula? I would like to be able to calculate the largest duration cam I can use with milled heads without flycutting and I don't want to play guessing games??

If you're going to cutting it that close, you'll have to measure to be sure.

I will definately measure once I purchase the cam , I just want to be able to get as close as possible without flycutting and still have the reccommended .080 clearance.

Does anyone know off hand what the max duration is or any personal experience with milled heads, cam and stock pistons?
