I really like the PRC LS6 CNC heads for their awesome bang for the buck, but I really don't know which will cam will compliment them best, that would make my final decision, but I voted Option 6 for the hell of it. Heard so many good things about the MS3 and I really like it cause it loves spray.

The larger than stock vavles hurt p/v clearance...I dont see how he expects 2.02 vavles to clear a MS3, am I missing something?

I'm am considering going with ported Dart 225's and a G5X5 or T-rex cam. Why r people saying there would be problems with the 225's? What's the stock CC size on LS1 heads anyways? I thought it was 58cc but maybe it's more. Regardless with the Dart's being 62cc I don't think there would be a problem

Well I went ahead and bought a different set of heads due to the killer deal I got.
They are Patriot Performance 5.3L Stage 2 heads.
Do you all know if the MS3 or TRAK cam will clear this set of heads?
The heads have 2.02 1.57 valves.
The TRex is going to be to big for my setup but I would still like to take advantage of my 4k stall and I think the MS3 or TRAK is going to be the way to go.

Don't get me wrong, the MS3 will punch an inpressive number above 6000 rpm, but if you're looking for the mid-range torque to go along with it, a narrower LSA cam like the T-Rex will put more "meat" under the entire curve, plus still squeak out a few more ponies upstairs.
Is the TREX streetable? I have the MS3 and it's already pretty hard to handle in the lower RPMs, I imagine the TREX would be worse?

I think if you have the right gears/converter and a killer tune it is supposed to be streetable. It also probably depends on what kind of driving you do (rural, city, highway). I'm sure many people have their own idea of what "streetable" is too!

I think I am gonna go with the Texas Giant and flycut the pistons and wait for the Edelbrock 225's to come out and get some of them ported

My idea of "Streetable" is being able to survive an hour of bumper to bumper traffic on the Long Island Expressway in NY.

Wow, see, my idea of streetable is getting good gas mileage out on rural roads in Oklahoma.

Are the Darts truly that much better then TSPs PRC LS6 heads? From what I have gathered, from the past several months, the LS6 heads have made many impressive numbers. Granted we don't have track numbers to back em up because most of the tracks are just now starting to open up. Are Darts worth the extra $500.00 or would it be a better decision to buy the LS6 heads (optioned out from TSP) and buy the FAST 90/90 for a couple hundred more?

I'm in the same boat. Once I get my tax returns back IM going back to TSP to buy the MS3 (which I should have done first) and I, like many of you, are still on the fence with the PRC LS6 heads, Darts new heads, or go all out and get the AFRs. I do Like the idea of going with the PRCs/MS3/and FAST 90/90.

Sounds good to me. I bet the power difference will be minimal at best, and you'll see some awesome numbers with that setup.
