Default ls1 to ls1, what is compatiable?

I am probably gonna get a complete LS2 402 longblock from TSP, I am wondering what parts will go straight from my existing LS1 onto the new LS2 engine? Will mt stock LS1 manifold work on it as well as all drive accessories? And what about the knock sensor cause I hear they arent compatiable?

Everything will swap over pretty much. The cam sensor is on the front timing cover and the knock sensors need to be relocated to the sides of the block. I believe katech sells a wiring kit for both of these item. Call them up and they will tell you what you need for sure. You can use a stock ls1 manifold but it is really going to kill power on a 402. You'd be better off buying at least a used ls6 intake off the board for 300-350. Might want to talk to tsp about the wiring stuff too, because they may have their own solution to it.

Well i may have to use the stock manifold till I have a little more for a 90/90. Are the knock sensors the same sensor just relocated?
