Mine leaked also Have stage II ls6, still have not got the heads to seal keep having problems. Used three types of head gasket. Now ringing the block and using sce head gasket arp head bolts. over half of the header bolts leak. Not real happy. Eailed gunnar and got no responce. called he said that the header bolt holes leak sometime because there are so close to the jackets. Said to use some sealer on the header bolts. Well i think they are a great price but this will make the third time to reinstall the heads if that dose not work i am going to buy some other type of heads. Good luck seem some of there heads work great but other do not.

I bought ls6 style heads from Gunnar about 2 years ago , it made 451 hp /411 tq with bolt ons and g5x3 . no problems at all . threw up 2 rods at 7000 rpm , fixed some valves , Gunnar shipped me a set of new seals for free (i know they don't cost alot but i like that) and the car is making around 670 hp with a 200 shot of tnt system .

One thing that you have to keep in mind that cheaper does not always means worse quality PP is about half of the price of some famous brands and flow almost the same of these famous brands.
not a relative to Gunnar but a very satisfied customer

Gunnar i need a discount for a new set of heads plz lol j/k

I spoke to Gunner last night for about two hours...I have never been so satisfied with a companys customer service and i work in a career field that lives by that!
I ordered some heads last night...i couldnt be more happy with the price! Cost less the the new Prc stage 1's for some CNC'ed 243 Ls6 heads with dual valves springs etc that flow over 300cfm.
Even if i dont make a lot of power i will still be satisfied because of the customer service and price. Thats just my opinion though.

JUNK! On Stage 3 LS 6 Style - Had bad valve seals. Had bad valve guides - burning oil like crazy, Bad deck seal, now leaking coolant. Switched to ET 245. If the heads are built right what do you need good customer service for? The best customer service for my money is the kind that you never need.

I've had my stage 2 5.3's from Patriot for 2 years now with no problems. I would recommend them.

The LS1 community is lucky to have this option.
This route is almost cheaper than the "port your own stock heads" method as well.
