is there any diffrence between the aluminum 6.0L ls2 and the 6.0L iron lq9? if i wanted to upgrade my ls1 block would the ls2 be better because it lighter and i can get the same amount of liters out of it?

LS2 is lighter but will require some harness parts to make it work (knock sensors and cam sensor)
Also it requires front LS2 cover and chain. All else is pretty much bolt on.

Which one would be the most dependable in a mild NA configuration that would be bracket raced every weekend?

Properly cooled, LS2 would be better IMO.
