Default help just broke arp studs !!!

what is the torque spec on the upper 8 headbolts. ( small ones) I just broke two at 45 lbs. I take it thats to tight?

45 is to much for the ones with the 10mm head on them. I think it's only 22 or 25. The specs are different for lubed vs. unlubed, but no near 45.

ok well im a freakin idiot...the box and instructions said torque all to 65 with moly lube. i knew that wasnt right for the little ones so i tried one at 45 and that joker snapped.

Holy ****! 45ft lbs is alot for those small bolts. Curious how much did they actually take before snapping?

One actually held but i didnt know i was just twisting the stud. The second one broke. I was like o-shyt! that sux.I thought i only broke one but i backed all the bolts off and saw the first stud had twisted and was on the verge of breaking.

I did that before...... not by going to 45 ftlb's, but i broke one. I think by the time i was done it was like $9 shipped to my door for the new stud from ARP.
