what weight oil to use? 124,000 miles on the beast

Default what weight oil to use? 124,000 miles on the beast

been using 10w 30 since the car was brand new... synthetic of course. the car has 124,000 miles on it and was wondering if thats what i should keep using?

if it made it to 124k, i'd say keep doing what you are doing!

I've always used M1 5w30 on mine since I bought it at 100k, now its at 137k almost 138k and it's done great. Patman is a oil expert so maybe he'll chime in, I believe the best oil he recommends is German Castrol 0w40, but dont quote me on that.

i use 10w-40 and it has worked great but if it's working for you don't change it

10w30 synthetic here as well.
