Just ordered a cam, what else do I need?
Just ordered a cam, what else do I need? It's a Comp Cam 224/224 .581 .581 on 114 LSA. I have a guy that is selling me some 918s with titanium retainers. What else would I need? Right now my SS is stock except for a jet hot chip. (I'm gonna order a stocker from Wait4me) And I also have a ported TB waiting to go on.

Proper length chromoley pushrods like comp cams or trickflow's, new crank bolt, new front main seal. You can reuse your water pump and front cover gaskets, if you dont destroy them. You should also look into a double roller timing chain like a rollmaster their cheap and also good insurance. Now to get the most power with the cam you can pick up a set of longtubes and ORY (offroad y pipe), catback exhaust, airlid, and a good dyno tune from one of our sponsors on here. BTW you dont need to order a stock chip just unplug the module and plug the stock harness into the computer.
