I ordered the crane cam kit with tr 214/220 cam the old man cam it came with dual valve spring titanium retainer and harden seats. Well I installed the cam already but I don't have the tool for the valve springs. Is in possible to just use this cam with the stock valve springs cause I heard the stock valve springs are very good to begin with.

 

um, ya. explain the rational of installing the cam knowing you dont have a valve spring tool to complete the job? you'll coil bind the springs, the stock valvesprings only have 75lbs on the seat @ 1.800 installed height and 230 open. either wait until you can change the springs or put the stock cam back in.
