Well **** then, I'm putting my motor and tranny back in together. The transmission is the biggest **** coming in and going out. Thanks, you just saved me HOURS.

Can you take it in and out from the top with tranny/motor with the heads on?

What do you mean you forgot to change plugs? Were you running stock plugs? TR55's?

Well the one you had probably would have held up had you taken the proper safety precautions that are stated over and over and over again in the nitrous section. Not trying to rag on you too much but you provided a perfect example of why so many people out there believe the "myth" that nitrous is dangerous to a motor, when in reality all you had to do was to relax a little and have patientce and install some $20 plugs.

Good luck with the new motor and be sure to have these installed:
1. Fuel Pressure Safety Switch
2. Colder plugs (NGK TR6's gapped @ .035-.038)
3. Window Switch.
4. WOT Switch.
5. Upgraded fuel pump (not needed but highly recommended)

Did you look at your plugs yet?? I bet they are melted or damaged in someway. Your fuel system should be perfectly capable of providing plenty of fuel for the amount of mods that you have plus the nitrous, so I dont think it was a result of not enough fuel. The plugs probably got too hot.

The nitrous had no part in this. The fact that the owner mod did not change the plugs was what caused this. Dont blame the spray, it only did what you told it to.

I don't know much about engines, I am still fairly new at this game, but if you went lean on the hot plugs would it not have burned a ring or burnt a hole in the piston?? don't see how running lean would make the motor come apart. Maybe something just came apart in the bottom end. Either way, good luck on the new motor.

Lean can cause detonation. which is knock. Knock can beat the **** out of anything, including the bottom end. Piston just outlived the crank.
