Head Swap Hi All,
I have a 98 Camaro z28 and have purchased some ported polished heads from a later z28, the new casting number is 853 I noticed that my coil packs mount directly on to the valve covers I beleive the 99-02 are a different setup I know I need the coil pack brackets, but I was just wondering what elese I needed. If any of you guys could help that would be great.

welcome to the site. These guys are all great sure somebodys done the same thing.
I think your type is the coil packs are seperately attached to the valve cover, newer coil packs there is a bracket the the 4 coil packs attach to and then bracket bolts on to the valve cover. im not sure you prob need either just the bracket or maybe even newer valve covers also. I'm sure somebody will now where to get all that.

You will need a set of center mount valve covers in order for them to work. Also the coil pack brackets. Obviously different head gaskets and new head bolts or studs.
