Thats a good question what type fo springs cause that was what i was considereing 918s because dont you have to take the head off to have the head machined for duals??? is there anyothers that wouldnt require machining

No. Patriot gold duals, PRC gold or platinums, or TEA duals all drop right in. Theyre all outstanding value for the money, and you simply dont hear of failures with them.

Many sponsors carry them. Try patriot performance directly, or Texas-speed who carriers PRC stuff. They usually run around 250-275 for the kit. Just about any hardened pushrod will do. On stock heads, id go for a 7.425 length PR. They usually run around 100 - 125. Youll also need a few misc gaskets and a pulley bolt and whatnot.

I go with an LG cam. You cannot beat proven track/dyno numbers and their customer service.

Would the Torquer 2 make more power than an MS3? If running 3.73s and a 4000 stall which would ya choose>

The MS3 is a bigger cam and has proven to make more peak numbers than the T2. You have to rev the motor a little more with the MS3 though.

Ya but I figure when you floor it you floor it. If you have your shift points set at 6800 it shouldn't be a big deal. Esp. if its powerband starts at your stall speed (4000 in my case). So would the MS3 be a better idea than the Torquer 2?

MS3 should in a properly setup combo give you 15 rwhp more across. Is this for a drag combo? If not MS3 is too big, as well as Trq V2

This is for a drag/street racing car Predator-Z. Many people have advised me on the 228R but the guys at TSP told me the Torquer 2 or the MS3 would make me more happy with my 4000 stall and planned 3.73 gears. Are they wrong? I understand peak hp, but if I floor it every time I race, whether the street or the track, and my stall flashes to 4k rpms and I keep it nailed through the gears, wouldn't the MS3 be the best?

My friend is using 918s on the T2 and he daily drives his car. In fact it is the car that they put the dyno graph on the TSP website. I've talked to him about it and he says he has no problems. 415 rwhp, no head work, 02 Z28, M6, 4:10's, pacesetters, duals, and some suspension work.

Actualy your 4K stall will fit the trq V2 better, MS3 needs at least that much but will benefit more from a 4400+

So the Torquer 2 would be a better choice over the 228r and MS3 with my setup? Thanks

So if your shifting at 6700-6800rpms why not just go MS3 anyway if it will give you 15rwhp across the board.
