My goal is to significantly increase torque and power in the mid-range and reach peak power at around 6300 RPM.

The cam will be spinning under stock 853 heads and enhanced with the normal array of bolt-ons, including a ported TB, LS6 intake, Hooker LTs, 3" Mufflex Y-Pipe, cutout, and March UD pulley. The power is sent to a Moser 12-bolt housing 3.90 gears, and, occasionally, I spray a 100-150 shot.

The valve events look like this (at .006, .05, and .200, respectively)...

Code:
Intake Valve opens - IVO	30.5 6	-33.5
Intake Valve closes - IVC	66.5 42 2.5
Exhaust Valve Opens - EVO 72.5 48 8.5
Exhaust Valve Closes - EVC 28.5 4	-35.5
Exhaust Centerline - ECL	112 112 112
Overlap 59 10	-69
If my calculations are correct, my DCR should be around 8.1:1.

Any input you all have to offer would be very much appreciated. I'd hate to spend the time and money to do this swap only to discover the cam in question works horribly.

Thanks,
Josh
Who makes this cam and where can I get it?

Just call CompCams directly and order it....

The lobe serial #s are:

Intake: 3724
Exhuast: 3726

Make sure you explain to them you want a 110LSA and 108ICL (if that is what you want)

I've got a 227/231 571/578 111 no advance and LOVE the low end torque. Good choice on cam!

Has anyone dynoed the 228/232 110 +2 cam yet?

I was just reading the AFR 205 thread and Tony Mamo @ AFR says the 112 version needs the pistons notched so I'm guessing the 110 won't work at all with those heads.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=495344&page=2

What heads will this cam work with? I can't afford AFRs anyway, but was wondering what my choices are. When I saw that post I got worried. I'm looking at TSP PRC LS6 CNC heads and Dark 205 heads. Will those work without any clearance issus? I'm going to be stock heads for a while, but eventually want to get some heads.

okls1:
Go for it. A 1* change in ICL will have a only minimal change in the cam's behavior; maybe even undetectable. The change is well within potential grinding error (e.g. both a 110 and 111 ICL cam could be delivered as 110.5).

What exactly happens to the cams profile if you advance it 2+ degrees with an adjustable timing gear.

Smaller base circle. 7.425 should ensure proper preload to help eliminate the "sewing machine" sound. However, with aftermarket heads, smaller gaskets, or milling, you will need to check for proper length.

That cam will be nice on the street because the LSA will drop the power band down a few RPM's. It should be just a bit higher than stock RPM wise, with big gains in power.

very similar to mine. 228/232 but I got the intake on an lsk lobe with .639 lift, and a 112+2 to ease the low end torque on street tires (i won't run slicks) and spin a bit higher. plus a 100 shot for special moments.

Like Jbird said the cam has smaller base circle so 7.425 should make it run better. I went with predator's suggestion because he seems to be the pr master Yes I cant wait to get this cam in, but with this and the 4.10s I wont have traction until 4th gear

It is more than a bit, 42 IVC will make it peak at 6200 rpm, so shiftpoints will be 6500/6600
