Price is $2349.00 with ferrea valves and our dual gold .650 lift spring kit with titanium retainers. These should work great on an FI setup especially with the large exhaust port. The reason we did this was because the availability of the other aftermarket heads is poor at best right now and it is another option for guys who want to race this summer.

Damn man I keep telling you I need a job.
I already answered the questions.

BTW. I would take a good guess and say these are the same port as the AFR stage 3 TEA heads.
You will have a full custom head and the only part that Dart will have anything to do with is the castings themselves.
Put it this way this head will fit on every motor a LS7 casting head will work on but you can still use the fast or LS6 intake.

I have something in the works for those needing something for the 346-408 guys. I am becomeing a sponsor the start of May and will have a bad *** option for you guys that Mike from TEA has been helping me with.
If your interested dont buy yet wait a few weeks and I will give everyone the low down.
Price will be in the low 2000 dollars range. valve size will be either 2.02 or 2.055 on the intake, dual spring kits will be used, 3.9 bore or 4" bore will be available. Pretty sweet stuff.
Stay tuned.

Does the Dart heads have a thicker deck or not? Im thinking how would they act with a high boost application?

In a nutshell yes.

I was told that the Darts had a 50 thou thicker deck.

I picked up some for my incon forged motor combo. Now just have to figure out where to have the chambers opened up so I can get to the 8.75 CR I am looking for.

Mike, will Dart providing a casting so that you can build something a bit smaller, like a 205-220?

Also, what is the port size of your AFR Stage 3s?

I called to see if they had a CNC porters casting, I was told not yet. Our stage 3 runner measures about 240.

Would these heads be a good choice for a 408 or should I wait for the 2.08/1.60 valves?

Hey Mike.

I've got some of Jay's at Absolute Speed 5.3 862 Castings.I'm running 978 1.46 springs. Valves are 2.02/1.575 . Combustion chambers are 64 cc and intake runners are 235/240cc big. This is with a 346 ci engine. If I go to a 408,will the 235/240cc runners be OK?

I would be surprised if they really pushed the dart stuff at this point due to their relationship with trickflow/summit. Could be wrong.............

I just want to sell cylinder heads. As long as we can provide our customers a good quality part that makes good power and we can turn a profit we will sell it. I will post 4.00" bore flow #'s soon things are really busy right now.

Any chance you will be doing a stage 3 4"+ bore head with the trick flow casting. Heard about too many issues with the dart casting, and I prefer the 13 degree head as well.

No joke. They're really shooting themselves in the foot with the trend of people running bigger cube, N/A, high-cr motors...
