Not true, I know people who have used the RP race oil for a while with no problems whatsoever. There is nothing in that oil that is going to mess up the o2 sensors.

They are just being cautious that's all. I have seen oil analysis results with the race oil being used in street cars for as much as 7000 miles and it's TBN is still strong (showing it's got good enough detergency to be used on the street)

I'd just like to point out that the guy no longer works for RP and is now at a speed shop, so it may and probably isn't RP's recommendation.

GC 0W-30 FTW! i wouldn't put mobil 1 5W-30 in my car if it was free, not after all the things patman has shown and said about it may as well put water in your crankcase.

183k miles, have been running RP for probably close to 100k of those...
Mobil 1 prior to that...I also use a Canton Racing aluminum spin-on filter housing that uses replaceable elements. I also run RP gear oil and did a full transmission fluid dialysis to RP. In regards to price...YearOne has the RP for $5.30/qt & $62.00/case(that's $5.17/qt)...that beats anyone's price on Mobil 1 that I know of...just avoid the O'Reilly $7.20/qt and PepBoys $6.99/qt...

GC 0w30. Mobil 1 is for those who believe marketers over engineers.

When you drive it, do you get the oil up to temperature most of the time, meaning at least 170 oil temp?

After hearing you guys talk about german castrol I did some research on it. I found that for it to be gc the bottle has to say made in Germany. Is this true? The site said it is hard to find, you just have to look through all the bottles at the zone and see where there made?
