how much $$ for this engine? i currently have a forged head/cammed 357 lt1

i have subsided to the fact i'm never going to get what i want out of my lt1 v.s. building an ls1/6
my car ran 12.3 w/ a 1.9 60 ft. at 113 mph
i want something that will run solid low 11's NA
i have about 12,000$ + invested in the build my lt1, full forged lower end, bored .40 over, Loyed elliot heads and a 236/245 cam, all the best, hooker/borla etc.
what kinda cost am i looking at if i bought a 98-99 camaro ss and built a forged solid roller 400+ ci engine? ?? i know it depends on what brands etc, i don't plan on buying lunati, but scat/callis/eagle or whatever,,,something that can handle the hp i want. labor will be free as me and my ASE dad will build it, just cost for the parts. i'm an lt1 wizard and am kinda new to LSX engines..cam i do an ls6 build on a 98 ls1?

Nice car. May want to sell the LT1 engine and do an LS1 swap. If not you could get a mid milage ls1 SS(less than 50k) for under 12K and Z's will be easy to find and cheaper.
You can run Low 11's with a heads and cam package with all the bolt ons. Many will put you in the 425-440rwhp range. If you really wan to race then get an A4 with a HIGH stall. 4000+. You can do alot for 2k if you shop around. BTW seems like your LT1 should have ran better times that that but the 1.9 60ft has to go

ya i know the 60 ft is killing me, i plan on putting lower control arms and sub frame connectors on very soon, also, when i ran the car it hadn't been tuned yet, and thats a pretty good size cam for an lt1 especially w/o being tuned..
