PCV remove
I have been thinking of deleting my PCV and running a single metco screw in cap breather, I understand that it will not throw a code, but is it bad for life long engine? is a breather less ventilation or more? anybody that can chime 2 cents here would be greatly appreciated.

I went through tons of posts on here about this lately. I went ahead and ordered the Metco breather yesterday and I'm going to run it on the drivers side. After all the researching I did, the only thing I came to is that your oil gets broke down more quickly without the pcv on a daily driver.
I change my oil frequently anyway so I am ditching the pcv.Type in pcv and pvc in search (people type it both) and there's alot of info.

I am just going to run a single breather on the drivers side. From my research you should be good with a single breather. If not I'll get another one for the passenger side.
On 98's you can put it on the driver or passenger when using the screw in Metco. On 99-02's you have to run it where the oil fill cap is unless you buy another passenger valve cover. The reason is because 99-02 have center bolt covers and 98's are perimeter from what I can tell. You can go get different breathers and clamp them on and it would be cheaper. I just want it for looks and I can swap back easily if I ever have to have a visual inspection for emissions.

I dont know why dub is wanting to doing it, but I get a little bit of oil into my intake and it cleans up the bay. I dont drive my car much but I do frequent oil changes because I do alot of short trip drives. I already have all the caps to plug all the existing ports.
