Default 6.0 motor for bo0st , as back up! plase read

ok guys i know this question has been asked many times but i have not found a specific answer!

i have a turbo set up with stock botom end! i want to build a 6 liter as a back up! i know there is some sort of alternator issue but mine is mounted on the top of the enging anyway

here is my question :

if i buy a stock 6 liter block what all more will i have to buy, and how much did you end up spending when said and done? should i just get a block from a vendor already built?....i am trying to save money! i want to just move my ls1 parts to the 6.o block

pistons
rods rod bolts...etc..

will my ls6 manifold will work with it?
i already have 317 p and p heads
turbo cam and daul chain poorted oil pump ect..

The intake will work just fine with it. I've heard the double roller timing chains will not, but I've never personally seen this.

You will have to drill in the block for the alternator. That is the main difference.
