Default LS1 AFR 205cc - Flow Numbers (Inside)

Just got my 2 sets of heads flow tested w/ Jason at TSP, and thought I post some numbers for you guys. Not looking to start a ET vs. AFR vs. Dart war, just though it'd help those questioning or looking for AFRs numbers.

Here are the flow numbers guys (both sets flowed almost identical numbers, off by decimals):

-----Acutal --- Advertised by AFR
.300 - 207 ------ 200
.400 - 253 ------ 251
.500 - 287 ------ 281
.600 - 298 ------ 298

I think this just reinforces the quality and dependability of these heads. Great job AFR, it's sweet when you get a set of heads that out flow their advestised numbers.

Thanks again to all the guys at TSP. These guys really set the bar high for our other vendors w/ their expertise, professionalism, and customer service.

Rey

P.S. - I'll be running these at 62cc w/ a .045 gasket, and TSP 228R cam.

I know there's a number of people around here contemplating running this setup, so I should have numbers w/in the next 2 weeks.

I can't wait to see your numbers. This is the exact combination I've been contemplating.

Any issues with PTV clearance? Also, what will your DCR be?

Thanks and good luck

I've been working w/ Tony and Jason putting this setup together, so I think I'll fine w/ PTV clearance. I'm sure if when they chime in they'll comment if they think there'll be any issues, but I think we've already explored this setup a good amount to feel pretty confident it'll work.

As for the DCR, I keep coming up w/ different numbers, so I don't know exactly, but it seems to be ~8.4-8.7.

I don't understand why you're changing your AFRs out. Is the only difference the springs and slight milling? Couldn't you just mill the AFRs you've got now?

I'm not, I'm swapping my MTIs out. I accidently bought 2 sets of AFRs.
