the higher the lsa the better it is on the steet, on some sites when you go to their cams they give u choice of higher or lower lsa, in parantheses next to the higher it says smoother idle.

Ok so a 110lsa would be fine for the street just have a nasty idle With a tune and all of course, but I have 4.10s so that helps driveability but I do drive dd so 95% of the time I am driving like a grandma to save gas.

its not going to be that much harder to tune. its going to have about 2* more over lap. it will still have less over lap than orange peels 244/248 on a 114. and way less than a T-rex that some people drive. its really not that much more radical idle although it will sound better

Well if it sounds anything like yours I will be happy . Just dont want car to be PIA to drive everyday. I will probably buy cam in week or two just making these few last decisions.

a 228/232 110 + 0 on xe-r cam i think would be a very strong cam. Or if you wanted to go slightly smaller a 226/230 112 + 1 wouldnt be bad either.

Ya it looks like the valve events on the 110+0 are good as well. And Patrick G. says how advancing too much is bad, maybe that will be good. That would peak before 6500 wouldn't it? The 226/230 is between the 2 but guess I might as well get it done right the first time. So 228/232 .588/.595 on 110+0 lsa comp (3724, 3726)xer lobes??? Sound good? Now would you all suggest going to comp or through like thunder racing? Which cheaper

as to which is cheaper i dont know, i do know that it will cost you 380ish if you go through thunder then what ever shipping would be.

I would go through thunder just becuase they will cam doctor the cam and you will know exactly what you are getting. That and i think the customer service from thunder is second to none.
