Bullets don't do much to reduce rasp. They help, but what you really need is a quality muffler, duals with a crossover or high flow cats.

sell the borla for a hooker catback, get Pacesetters and TSP ory from TSP, and scrounge up what money u have left for a tune, ported throttle is optional, but if u can get it done cheap do it. after all this that thing will run like a new machine

Don't listen to people that don't have first hand experience. I DO. two bullets in the Y pipe (one on each side right after the header) WILL almost completely eliminate the rasp. The only down side is you will have to clearence the driver side floor or squish the driver side bullet to have really good ground clearence.
