Default pnp heads, sleeper cam, stock manifolds

pnp heads, speeper cam, stock manifolds what would you guys think about that setup i really dont feel that comfortable with the stock manifolds but then again i would like to rebuild the top half of my engine and want to go with this setup but not the cash flow at the moment for headers i know i know i need them, but how well do you thinki will perform with out them???

the setup would be as stated above with ls6 intake, ftra, pnp tb, ds maf, no cats, slp dual dual, 3.73's and would be with a tune

so what do you guys think???

Headers will probably offer a better HP/$ ratio than heads. If you are getting rid of cats, I'd suggest a set of headers first. Not only is the cost ratio favorable, you have more flexibility on cam choice.

That's pretty much my set-up except no heads and I kept the cats. Some AFR 205 or similar small volume heads will add power even with stock manifolds. Patrick G hit 400 rwhp with a similar set-up.
