Default People with a Big Cam and no cats....

Do you get smoke coming out from the exhaust?? I get smoke on cold start and even when the car is all warmed up. It's not oil smoke, but like urburnt fuel. It's not black smoke, but more a grey/blue smoke though not as blue as oil smoke.

The car is a 03 Z06, PRC stg 1 heads, MS3, Kooks 1 3/4 no cats, stock catback and FAST 36lb injectors.

I asked my tuner if it's because the injectors are too big and it's running too rich at idle. But he said he already pulled the DC back on the inj. and the smoke is just from the combination of the big cam and no cats.

Any ideas? If this is normal, I'll probably be putting back the cats.

Yes it is normal at idle, especialy on cold starts. Overlap of the cam means unburned fuel.

Yah, I def. expected it on cold starts. But when the car is warm also? Like last night, I was driving around for 1.5 hours and pulled over to talk to a friend. And I can still see a lot of smoke coming out especially with my friend's C6 HIDs lighting it up from the back.

Yeah there is going to be a little smoke, and its going to smell like unburned fuel. Especially with more overalap. But if you are smokin enough to kill mosquitoes, then we have a problem on our hands

I've got it, I don't worry much about it. Little rich at idle.
