Nice.. I am doing a cam only package this year and then doing heads next.

Will this cam work well with my stock ls6 heads.
How will this cam be on spray?
Should I just go ms3 because of spray or will this work well also?

I'm also wondering how this package is going to perform on nitrous since I already have the ms3 and heads and nitrous are in the near future. I wonder if the gains would be better on and off the bottle with that new cam. Hopefully more info on this setup will show up soon!

Guys, this has been repeated a zillion time.
Unless you are shooting in excess of 150 shot (dry or wet), the specs of the cam have little to do how it will react to juice.
It has always been agreed that one should pic a cam for its NA application and the shoot it if he/she so desired.
When a cam is designed with VE's for juice it is designed for BIIIIG shots.
Basically, small shooters shouldn't worry. You can spray ANY cam.

I hear that.
For now your right. But down the road when I do my motor I might want to hit it with a 200+ shot. Then what?
Still no biggie? Or should I go nitrous orientated cam.

Future plans stock 346ci, heads, cam, forged motor with juice.

I guess my main concern really is about how "daily driverable" this cam is with .647" of intake lift & .602" of exhaust lift. Its gotta be hard on the springs I would think. Thats only reason I was asking. I had been looking at more of a Torquer2 size cam before I saw this.

The new cam TSP is advertising would be better than the 232/234 Torquer V2 with the head combo they are providing.
In any case, while those cams will perform "cam only", they will do so with poorer results than if SCR, DCR is taken into consideration.

Exactly, it all depends on what you want. If you want more topend power, more duration is going to move the torque curve up while loosing some low end. If you want more low end and slightly less top end go with a cam with less duration and higher DCR. I havent seen a huge difference in power or torque between the LSK lobes and the XER... it may not be worth it for what you are asking the springs to put up with. Then again they may last just as long, with no loss in longevity, that remains to be seen.

Hey Zach, I'm assuming this is the cam that you guys installed in my goat correct? If so good job, the car drives great, for some reason I was thinking Jason told me the cam specs were a little different but oh well. Its a great package none the less.

That's a big lift on that cam. Wow, my 231/237 seems small now.

LSK lobes are no joke. It will be interesting to see how this cam continues to perform. Im just learning about cams myself and had all but settled on the 228/232 comp xer on a 110+2 until this came out. I still would prefer the safety of the ~.600 lift of the cam I mentioned as well as not having to shift past 6500 rpms. To make the LSK's really shine it appears you need some nice heads for those high lift #'s. Patrick's setup is pretty nice but I just can't justify the extra 3 grand for the afr's & ported 90/90 combo when I can get close on the cam I mentioned and a $1000 set of tsp ls6 heads.

On this NEW cam.
How will drivability differ because of the LIFT. Will it be as drivable as a ms3? or a 231/237, or totally different?

I can't speak for the MS3, but Jason has driven my car and said it was pretty similar to the ms3. It idles like stock, about 900rpm or so every once in a while you get some surging on take off nothing major though imho. The only thing I can't do with this cam that I could do stock is driving right about 40mph before I could leave it in 6th, not anymore.
