Sounds like you need to upgrade your springs! When I run the crap out of my old car the stock valve springs where crap high rpms don't mix with the stockers I replaced all of my stock springs to ls6 springs and never bent another one put about 5-6 pushrods in with the stock springs!Ha anyone need some 500 mile ls6 springs, blue?HA!I Keep the stock pushrods with the new springs!

This is from a missed shift. It started to tick one night pretty bad, and then the one just broke, i guess, and it smoked, and missed pretty bad. It didnt tick untill about 2-3 months after it had happened though, but all of them were bent at least a little.

DO NOT uprade the pushrods without changing springs. If you do the valves and heads will get damaged if you overrev again
