Default balancer bolt

is it safe to use an impact when removing the balancer bolt ???i was just woundering cause it seems like it would be way easier than using a breaker bar and running the risk of rounding off the bolt

I've always used an impact gun on mine. Its been off quite a few times as well. I just would never use an impact to put it on.

i would be scared to break the bolt with the quick torque of an impact.

I dont ever see it breaking, unless it was cross threaded somehow. My impact is rated at like 650 ftlb in reverse and I've never broke a bolt by using it.

I always start out slow and then just zip the button a couple of times.
