Default Broken Spark Plugs... WTF!!!!!

Okay I was finishing up my engine rebuild and found that the engine was no turning by hand. So I started to take out my spark plugs my number 1 spark plug was damaged a bit, my number 2 plug was damaged about the same, and my number 4 plug was pretty much crushed. The heads are number 853 and my cam is the lunatti 550099. What is the best way to get the remaining peices of ceramic from my number 4 spark plug port. Also when I put the heads on I already had the plugs in them. I may have damaged them while doing that. If anyone has any tips, comments or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to rip my heads off again.

Doesn't look like you have much of a choice. There's no way I can think of that you could know how to get the pieces out. Also, you need to figure out why this happened because I'm not seeing how it's possible to damage the plugs putting on a set of heads when they are already in the heads.

If you have access to a boroscope, I used a boroscope and some suction to clean some oil out of my cylinders once. It is quite the surgery, but easier than pulling heads.
