I had the car tuned and dynoed last week and the numbers seem alittle low. I dynoed 381rwhp/377rwtq. Mods are:

Hooker longtubes
Lid and k&n
ported and polished tb
MS3 cam kit
Ls6 intake
FTRA
4in exhaust with spintech muffler
Moser 12 bolt with 4:11's
160 thermo


The car is a 6 speed with 90,000 miles on it. It was dynoed with the heavy Boyd wheels on it.

Is there a reason it dynoed below 400rwhp? Most of the cars I've seen have been over that with the MS3. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

i know for sure your 12 bolt is definitely eating up some hp!!

 

not that much, your a/f looks like it goes pretty rich in the upper rpm's, and that supposedly is where this cam is supposed to shine. I would also check to see what timing was put into the tune, between those, I think you may be able to find another 15 to 20. The torque looks like the norm for the cam.

 

get a cutout. the spintech muffler is costing you some hp.

 

Hell yeah 12bolt & spintech rob ya some ponies so cutout would be your friend
