Default Would Maf ends be causing me problems?

i got new maf ends that are just free flowing instead of the stockers with all the screens in them. someone told me that the stock ones are fine for up to 420 rwhp and that i wouldnt gain any power from switching. all that it would be doing is causing me computing problems.

any opinions on this? should i switch em back?

It can't hurt to try it. I am a firm believer in not touching the MAF, but Many people have had success with modded MAF's.

Try it and see if it works for you. If you blow up the engine, you can always put the stock ends back on

well my car is running amazing except for the idle issues. and is making more power than it should be, so i dont really wanna change anything. i dynoed at 407.4 rwhp with boltons and a cam. i should be around the 380-390 mark.

so is it worth changing
