not long after getting my cam installed, on a cold start, it usually takes two or more cranks before the thing fires up. I have dealt with it for a while but it gets old and I have never asked anyone. Even if I have run it for a while and wait about 30 minutes and turn it back on, it is similar but not as bad.
People usually now look at me as if my car isn't going to start and it is getting on my nerves?
any ideas?

maybe fuel pump? my buddy's car would do the same thing. It would turn over a bunch of times then finally start. Then his fuel pump **** the bed one day, and he replaced it. Started right up after that, like it should.
