Default After a head swap....

..how long does it take for all the air to be out of the coolant?
Seems like after 4 heat cycles, the radiator is down about 4 inches of coolant. I keep adding, just wondering when I can stop?
TIA

Ya I did that method the 1st time I filled it up after the head swap, but since the heads retained water even after I drained the radiator and took off the water pump, I assume there was air still in the heads...I just hope I don't have a messed uphead gasket & am buring coolant in the combusion chamber.
...just be nervous, I guess
