cracked ls1 block worth fixing?
cracked ls1 block worth fixing? would this block be worth fixing? if so, how much would be a ball park figure i could estimate it to cost. the engine had low mileage but suffered a cracked sleeve and block at #4 cylinder. the cracked sleeve does not concern me so much as i can have it resleeved, but what about the block. the two red marks indicate cracks. one goes down about 3 inches deep and the other is about 2 inches deep? what d'ya think?!?!!?

UMM I would not waste the time or money. You can find ls1/6/ls2/6.0ltr blocks everywhere. I just bought a 6.0 ltr block for 500 bucks brand new from the stealership 
What are you going to do with the block? Beside making it a door stop
