TSP 233/239 dyno graph, what heads?
Hey guys, first post in the engine section. I have done lots of searches on this cam but was wondering if somebody could post some dyno graphs of thier 233/239 stock headed setups so I can compare them before I dyno my setup.
The other question is I'm thinking of stepping up the power and was thinking either some AFR 205's or ET 215's. What head would be better for my setup? Also would you guys step up to a Fast 90/90 or just run the LS6 intake with a ported TB?
And lastly, how much power am I losing running shorty headers? Only reason I am is becuase these were the only headers available for my LS1 1st gen swap when I bought all the parts.
I'm looking for some more torque down low and only want to run N/A
Thanks

Yea I been searching found some stuff...just thought I would post on this one too.
I have this cam and LOVE it. (but its the only cammed car I have ever owned)
I"m thinking of getting a dyno pull soon and just looking at numbers etc.
Thanks

You're leaving 30-40 hp on the table w/ this cam & shorty headers. I'll look for a graph later, but I made 400 rwhp locked, 385 unlocked.
As far as heads, I'm looking at TFS. You will most likley have to go w/ TFS, ETP or something w/ stock sized valves or you'll end up flycutting.

Lets see if I can get my dyno plot to come up here.
233/239V2 with PRC LS6 CNC'ed heads. Rest of the bolt on info is in the sig.
Three pulls (best appears below) were made early June in N. Alabama. 90+ degrees, high humidity...drove her ~100 miles to the dyno, strapped it down and started pulling. Tuner figures there is still a bit left in the car if it was dynoed in better conditions. Might have seen 440 rwhp with better weather a little more aggressive on the tune. I chose the safe side myself.

The cam pulls hard. I love it, and i'm very happy with my selection. Be warned though you get all your power above the 3k range and that's being generous. If you're thinking about going with it, all i can say is just do it. You won't be upset. I'm not too modded ( in sig ) and during tuning was estimated to put down 400rwhp give or take a few, though it was a street tune and not a dyno tune.
