20-30 dollars for a solid block of billet aluminum. I'm very, very curious where you can get these prices from. I'd be interested in buying this material for my own projects.

If you have a c5 definitely worth it, if you have an f-body, worth it you plan multiple changes, if you have an underdrive pulley and puller so that it comes off very easily (along with a stout breaker bar), less so.
