I've almost got my LS1 together that came out of a 02 SS. I have bought a 224/224 cam with a .581 lift. I got some 918 springs and hardended pushrods and a double roller timing chain. It is going into my 01 silverado and I was just wanting to know if there is anything I might need to know when doing the swap or if there is something I might do to the motor while it is out. I already have a nelson tune also. thanks

 

would i have to get a stall or will it be alright? Maybe a different intake cuz i can't use the one off the ls1 cuz it is too short

 

get a ported oil pump.

 

Find a G5X3 cam. It has tight P to V but it is a nasty little cam.
