Cam too big?

Cam too big? i bought a cam recently, thinking that it will be ok for my application. But, now I am starting to have some doubts. What I am worried about is cam surge, no low-midrange power, and it not clearing on the stock heads LS1.
Cam specs are 232/236 .595/.602 lsa 112 (not too sure about the lsa though i think that it was +1 or so).
Please let me know if this cam is a bad idea before I go and pay money to have it put in.
I have a 2000 ws6 all stock. Will be having LTs, ORY, catback, Ram HD clutch, spraying 150 wet shot, & other boltons (intake, tb, etc..)
