Default induction for a 408

i have a 408 motor waiting to be installed. i havent decided on what heads to get. i wanna make at least 500 rwhp with a th350. one other major concern is my intake. will an ls6 be enough or will a lsx really help out. lemme know what you guys think. TIA

90/90 and some afr 225's that would be the shizzit....or you can always do a sheetmetal intake..that would look sick

If you have the cash, get AFR 225's and get a LSX intake and have it ported by Tony Mamo @ AFR.

Ported LSX is worth another 30 or so rear wheel and a good amount of low end power over an LS6.

I also would not be dissapointed if you do not his 500rwhp through a TH350 if it does not have a locking converter. They really sap up alot of power on the dyno but will perform astoundingly at the track.

yeah, i think track times are more important than dyno #s..at least to me they are.
