Default showdown.MS3 or Torquer v2

ok these are the two cams that i have chosen and only will be chosen .ive read till im sick lol so lets get opinons on these two .my mods are in sig with the exception of a ls6 intake i would like to have good street manners mpg doesnt really bother me being a m6.but i do street race some mostly from a stop or a small 15mph roll what would benift me the most for my need .i also dont want to have to shift close to 7k i would feel comfortable at about 6500 or 6600 help me

I am pretty sure there is quite a few threads about this..... IMO go with the MS3, great street manner, massive power, and if you decide to spray the car, this cam will be just the one to do it with....

you are going to get split opinions though just to let you know.....

would you rather have a 113 lsa cam or a 112+2 lsa cam? LOL!!!!

Ms3 Is A Good Cam And With The Right Tune Its Plenty Streetable As On Now Mine Is Good But My Tune Is A Little Off So My Driveablity Is Not The Best (but Still Pretty Good And Will Improve Once I Get The Tne Down)

But In Anycase I Wouldent Hesitate To Go Big It Makes Good Power And You Can Shift It At 6600 And Make Great Power Just Maek Sure You Fine A Really Capible Tuner But Id Thik That To Be The Case With Any Cam

Definately Torquer 2. Mine peaks at 6300 rpm. The MS3 will want you to spin a bit higher with the added duration. The Torquer 2 should have more low end as well. Still sounds pretty mean too.

I dont want to give out exact numbers since this dyno was rather unflattering. It was an AWD dynojet that was putting up numbers closer to a Mustang Dyno.

Okay okay, here the numbers are:

409 RWHP, 376 RWTq

For comparison:
F-13 cam only car pulled 357/348 (previously pulled 400 flat elsewhere)
A 230/236 + LS6 heads car made 375/369
A 5# supercharged car did 411/382
Stock cars were making between 278 and 290 HP.
An intake/exhaust/TB/HPTuners car did 317 (previously dynoed 317 stock elsewhere)

just to throw something out there......i ran my friends MS3 cam only SS to my F13'd Z28 and i actually pulled on him all the way to 100. By 100 he started to creep back but was still a fender back by 140ish.....

Both equal drivers. I was on a nitrous tune (380rwhp) but weigh a bit less than him, and he put down 410 to the tires.

Dude, you live on long island. Go to vette dr's ECS, TTP, eastside/Don or whatever and get dyno tune from a regular shop.
