Question Breaking Rocker arms

Alright when one of my rocker arms broke on the drivers side about a year ago i thought it was a fluke. Now that I broke another one today I am realizing something is wrong. So after pulling the broken one I pulled one of the good ones out and realized that there might be too much play up and down in it. I think the bearings are just going out on all of them. BTW the clip came off and dumped those bearings into the motor

My car has MTI stage 2E LS1 heads, X1 cam (230/228 591/570 112), 7.4 inch hardened pushrods, and stock rockers.

The car is a 99 corvette with about 88000 on it.

Should I be looking into shorter pushrods? Are rockers just a wear item that I didnt know about? Whats the deal

Thanks in advance

BTW, are LS1 rockers the same as LS6?

I never post over here, I am bigger on the corvette forum. I have come to realize that if you want any GOOD advice that you should come here

Sounds like the rockers are just worn out.

Hope you get all the metal out of the motor.

We have a Harland Sharp mod to replace the bearings in your rockers and will not happen again. Give me a call.
